For those of you who don’t know me personally, I’ll start with the elevator pitch: I’m Paige Burns, founder of Main Paige Media, a full-service video production company dedicated to helping businesses tell their stories through high-quality, engaging video content. I’ve always been passionate about storytelling—whether through video, photography, or writing—and I love bringing my clients’ visions to life in a way that resonates with their audience.
After years of working in video production, I realized that so many small businesses, non-profits, and educators had incredible stories to share, but didn’t always know how to translate their message into compelling video content. That’s why I started Main Paige Media—to bridge that gap and create professional, authentic videos that help brands connect with their ideal clients.
In undergrad, my major at Northeastern University was Communication Studies with a concentration in Media Studies. I also had a minor in Media Production and a minor in Writing. Despite this highly specific combination of areas of interest, for years I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do. Commercial advertising, screenwriting, TV producing, copywriting, film production – it all crossed my mind at one point or another. All I knew was I loved doing work where I got to be creative and tell stories. Fast forward to today and I’m so happy that I get to do those two things every day.
I also spent years tutoring middle school students in math, and even briefly considered taking a hard left turn from pursuing creative industries to pursuing a career in education. Today when we get to work with schools and non-profits on their video projects, I feel like it’s the perfect marriage of those two paths I was split between in undergrad.
I often joke that I’m always “working for the weekend.” That’s not to say I don’t love what I do, because I absolutely do, but one thing I love about being a business owner is that I can design the life I want to live. My partner, Dan, and I love to travel. We’re often taking weekend trips to ski in the winter, camp in the summer, or jet set to new cities to explore or see friends. Living a life of adventure is a big priority to me, and I’m so grateful for a partner who is enthusiastically along for that ride.
When I’m not traveling, I call Beverly, Massachusetts home. We have two dogs, Willow & Dobby, and they fill my life with chaos and a lot of love.
