Bringing Tiny Spoon Chef’s Story to Life Through Video

At Main Paige Media, we believe in the power of storytelling. A well-crafted brand story video doesn’t just share what a company does—it captures its essence, values, and personality.

That’s exactly what we set out to do with Tiny Spoon Chef, a personal chef service that has been transforming the way people eat since 2013. Now operating in 15 states and continuing to expand, Tiny Spoon Chef helps families, professionals, and even athletes enjoy high-quality, chef-prepared meals in the comfort of their own homes.

A Brand Story in Motion

Tiny Spoon Chef first partnered with us last year to create a series of Hulu ads aimed at reaching new clientele. This time, founder and CEO Janice Carte wanted a brand story video—a piece that would highlight the journey of her business, its growth, and the team behind it.

This project came together fast—from contract to shoot date in just over a week! With a tight timeline, we worked efficiently to plan an interview-style brand story video that aligned with their quirky, fun brand personality. The shoot was set in a beautifully designed kitchen that even highlighted some of their brand colors!

Capturing Genuine Moments

Because Janice has grown into a CEO role, we featured one of their chefs, Bella, and a real family (friends of Janice’s) to represent Tiny Spoon clients, making for authentic and relatable footage. We even incorporated some playful shots (like Janice tossing cabbage at the camera) to reflect Tiny Spoon Chef’s lighthearted voice.

The goal was to showcase how this business has evolved from Janice cooking for a handful of clients to leading a growing and award-winning team of chefs across the country.

Maximizing Content from One Shoot

We always encourage our clients to consider what other deliverables might be valuable to get out of this shoot day. Some clients want shorter versions of their videos for social media, some want multiple videos shot on one day. For Tiny Spoon, we’ll be working in post production to deliver the following:

  • Two versions of the brand story video—one general and one tailored for their growing athlete clientele.
  • A vertical B-roll library with polished, standalone clips for their marketing team to use across social media as they create their own content.

This shoot was only a week ago, so the final edit isn’t fully cooked just yet! But I’m so excited to share how it all comes together when it’s ready.
