Video Production Associate (Part-Time)

The Video Production Associate will report to the Founder & Creative Director of Main Paige Media LLC.

Job Overview:

Main Paige Media is a small, woman-owned video production & strategy company. We’re committed to using video as a powerful communication tool while maintaining authenticity for our clients. We’re known for working with many women-owned & feminist organizations in the Greater Boston area (which we LOVE!), but our list of clients really runs the gamut. 

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic part-time employee to join the team! The Video Production Associate will report directly to our founder and will aid in all aspects of production including client onboarding, scheduling, pre-production & post-production.

Our ideal candidate is a quick learner & self starter, eager to align with the mission of Main Paige Media, and has a love for small business marketing & strategy. A successful candidate will be a great communicator and won’t be afraid to ask questions. 

We're looking for a highly creative individual who is ready to learn, create, and build with us while adapting to the ever changing landscape of video production and small business ownership. 

You may be perfect for this role if your love for video goes beyond the gear - you love what video can do for creating connection, understanding, and education.

This position is part time (10 hours/week to start) & remote, however if you’re local to the Greater Boston area, this role may include assisting on local shoots!

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Pre-production: You will assist in client onboarding, scheduling & prep on a project by project basis.

- Post-production : You will help edit client work as well as internal work for Main Paige Media using Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience with After Effects is a bonus. 

- Social Media: Main Paige Media’s social media channels not only help garner business, but they also are used to showcase the businesses we work with. The Video Production Associate will create social media content as well as help grow the Main Paige Media brand.

- Marketing: Main Paige Media’s marketing efforts are ongoing. We're looking for someone who is unafraid to bring us new ideas (and can be receptive if we say, "Thanks, but no thanks"). You will have the opportunity to pitch new marketing strategies as well as help execute current strategies.

Qualifications:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Proficiency in major social media platforms
- Ability to take direction and work independently

This position would be ideal for a new grad seeking part time work or a freelancer looking to add consistent work to their schedule. Currently we’re looking for an average of 10 hours per week, however as the business grows, more hours may become available.

We are flexible with scheduling, but we do want someone who can work while we’re online during normal(ish) business hours. 

Pay: $25/hr
